Best copy trading platforms for crypto in 2026 (on-chain and exchanges)

Short answer
There are two kinds. On-chain (GMGN, Trojan) copies any Solana wallet for about 1% per trade, 1 to 5 seconds behind it. Exchange copy trading (Binance, Bybit, Bitget) copies a lead trader inside the exchange and charges a profit share, usually 10% to 20% of profit, only on winning trades. The platform matters less than who you copy: 22% of active wallets we tracked were profitable.
Copy trading means your account buys and sells automatically when someone else does. On Solana you copy a wallet address; on an exchange you copy a 'lead trader' with a public track record. Both can lose money fast if the trader you copy is a sniper, a bot or simply lucky, so every platform below should be used with a fixed amount per trade and a daily limit.
Our own app: follow an influencer or a wallet and the app enters each fresh call (at most 10 minutes old) on a virtual $1,000 account, with a daily cap, rug check and automatic exits.

How to choose
On-chain vs exchange. On-chain copies meme coins and anything on Solana; exchange copy trading is mostly futures and big coins, with KYC.
Fee type. 1% per trade costs you on losers too; a profit share only costs on winners, but exchange futures add leverage risk.
Speed. On-chain copies land seconds after the wallet; on fast tokens that alone can turn a win into a loss.
Filter the trader. At least 10 closed trades, holding time you can follow, no sniper or insider labels.
Cap it. A fixed $ per trade and a daily maximum (we default to $25 and 10 trades).
FAQ
Which copy trading platform is best for beginners?
An exchange's copy trading (Bitget, Bybit, Binance) is simpler: you pick a trader with a public record and set an amount. Avoid leverage until you understand it. For Solana meme coins, start with tiny amounts on GMGN or Trojan.
How much does copy trading cost?
On-chain bots charge about 1% on each buy and sell plus network fees. Exchanges charge normal trading fees plus a profit share for the lead trader, typically 10% to 20% of profit.
Is copy trading profitable?
Only if you copy the rare trader with a real edge. In our tracker the median active Solana wallet lost money (profit factor 0.65) and 2 of 50 passed our copy filter.
Can I practise copy trading without money?
Yes. MemeSonar members copy influencers and wallets with a virtual $1,000 in our competition before risking real money.
MemeSonar puts wallet tracking, influencer calls and a rug check on every new Solana token in one app. Invite only.
